New Zealand all rounders Kyle Jamieson was awarded the 2021 version of the Gamer’s Cap.

This award is given to the player who gets the maximum votes by the New Zealand players and support staff as their ‘cricketer of the year’.

By winning this award, Kyle has joined a elite list which includes Brendon McCullum, Tim Southee , Ross Taylor, K Williamson and Trent Boult, who won the same award in past.

  • (Born 30 December 1994) is a New Zealand cricketer.
  • He attended Auckland Grammar school and was part of New Zealand’s squad for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
  • He made his international debut for the New Zealand cricket team in February 2020 against India.
  • In May 2020, New Zealand Cricket awarded him with a central contract, ahead of the 2020–21 season.
